  2. Dear Mr. Darby,

My name is Angela, I work at an educational research lab called Edlab in Teachers College, Columbia University. Edlab is an organization which is developing educational tools to create a more dynamic learning environment. Projects we feature and develop ranges from web tool to educational animations.

Edlab is currently focusing on developing Vialogues, a video based discussion board. Its currently in its pilot stage and presently being used at Columbia University. We’re looking to expand our network and also expand the tool’s functionality, we are looking for more users and feedback – Is it possible that you can make a blog post about Vialogues?

Below is some more info about Vialogues:

The fundamental premise behind this tool is to construct a blended learning environment by having restrictive/open discussions among students around a video to create asynchronous peer-peer learning. Additionally the tool also
offers time coded and pole featured comments that highlights parts of video which have been discussed the most.

Please contact me with any questions and you are more then welcome to come visit Edlab in NYC!

Thank you for your time and looking forward to be hearing from you 🙂

    Best Regards,
    Angela (Wan-Yu) Lee
